Liverpool boss Klopp hits out at schedule: Insane!

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has hit out at the schedule.

Klopp is upset with how his team was treated during this season's Europa League campaign.

He said: "The boys had a couple of days off which is super important and we could have proper training sessions again which we are pretty much not used to anymore. Usually we stumble from one into the next and then we play again.

"Training helps good coaches, good managers, good footballers massively, you can see that.

"In general I think it's a really interesting subject. Seeing that Aston Villa lost 4-2 last night for example would mean if they go out no English team will be in any kind of European final.

"I watch a lot of football. The Premier League is the best league in the world so it's not overrated, the players are over-worked."

Ahead of hosting Tottenham on Sunday, he added: "In the whole world we have the quickest turnaround between games. That is absolutely insane but they are still happy and subscribers, you can take me off that list."
